Which newsreader do you use with nntp//rss?

| | Comments (4)

A quick request for nntp//rss users: I've created a poll on the nntp//rss message board to find out which newsreaders are used by nntp//rss users. You can find the poll at:

http://www.methodize.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12

If you have any tips for effective nntp//rss-enabled news reading within your newsreader, please feel free to add them to the topic.

Update: I've switched to different polling software that supports anonymous voting. The poll is now located at:

http://www.methodize.org/poll/newsreaderpoll.php

Update 2: Poll is now on the main nntp//rss page: (ok, this is the last change!)

Can you leave voting opened to anonymous people ?

It seems like phpBB restricts voting to registered members. I'm looking at a couple of other PHP-based voting/poll scripts that'll allow anonymous voting - watch this space!

Ok - I've changed over to using a dedicated polling package. Fortunately it was an optional script supported by my hosting account, so installation was a breeze! The poll is now located at:
